About Unleashed Dog Park

Unleashed offer two secure exercise fields, which are ideal for young dogs and training dogs, dogs who are nervous around other dogs and people and dogs recovering from injury or veterinary treatments.

The website requirement

Unleashed Dog Park had a website and booking system which was great and worked when they first started renting out the dog fields. As the business became more established they needed something that was better designed, mobile friendly and an improved booking system with additional features. We spoke in detail with the business owners and documented their requirements, including:

The solution

With over 4 years of bookings on the old system, many who had purchased ”packages” and had outstanding timeslots available, the customer migration was a large piece of the new website and development work. Code was written to import the exported data and cross check bookings with outstanding timeslots available, match them all up and then provide those customers with access in their customer accounts to be able to book outstanding slots. In addition to customer migration, the website design was updated to be mobile friendly and more modern with a clear navigation and booking process Within the website CSM all customer data is stored, with their bookings so everything is in one place and easy to manage.

Admin controls and automated tasks include but not limited to:

Improved admin processes to manage bookings
Adding telephone bookings
Automated booking confirmation
Automated email and text message booking reminders (also logged so admin can see they are sent)
Reports to view package orders and remaining timeslots within each booking
Seasonal booking times (for day light saving) etc.
Manually reserve dates (for closures, holidays etc.)

Customer account controls:

View order history
Booking timeslots on packages
Re-schedule booked timeslots times
Update account details including name, address, phone, email and password
